We require PCPs currently registered to practice in BC, for an immediate assignment starting August 15.

This assignment require the Field Medic to deliver emergency medical care and coverage on our client's drillling operations near Dawson Creek, BC. This assignment is on an ongoing operation with the potential for long-term work.

This will be a rotational assignment (14 to 24 day rotations), and will be rig based (shacks) and involves working 12 hour days.

Successful candidates will, first and foremost, be experienced providing leading edge emergency medical coverage in extreme & remote environments with the proven ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism while demonstrating the flexibility, positive attitude and professionalism necessary for succes in a remote environment.

Must be currently registered with the Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board of BC (with current OFA III/Paramedic in Industry certification
A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing remote Emergency Medical Support services in the Oil and Gas industry, with direct experience on drilling operations strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Level C certification
Valid Safety certifications: H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS, PST/CSTS
Current ACLS, ITLS and/or PHTLS certifications preferred
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
As travel may be required, a valid Class 5 licence is necessary

Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team amidst face paced & stressful environments.
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person.
Proven ability to remain open-minded and objective while successfully managing multiple projects.
Enthusiasm for enhancing your skill set by undertaking ongoing field level medical training on rotation.
